Harmony and balance in your relationship with food

Peace with food begins when you trust your body and honor its needs.

a Little bit about Me…

Hey, Im Kristin!

I have always been passionate about health and nutrition, which led me to dedicate over seven years to studying the intricacies of the body and metabolism. Through this journey, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the role food plays in our lives—not just as nourishment but as a source of comfort, connection, and sometimes, fear.

I believe in the power of intuitive eating and that no food should ever be entirely off-limits! The foods you love deserve a place at your table, and my goal is to help you discover a balanced approach that works for you.

Why See a registered dietitian?

Registered dietitians are highly trained professionals with expertise in all aspects of nutrition, grounded in a deep understanding of the science behind it. Our education emphasizes biology, chemistry, anatomy, and physiology, giving us the tools to see the big picture—how food interacts with the body, supports overall health, and influences various conditions that can impact metabolism.

Choosing to work with a registered dietitian is a powerful step toward nourishing your body and mind. As a trauma-informed dietitian, I understand that food and health are deeply connected to your personal story, emotions, and lived experiences. This is why I bring a somatic approach to my practice—acknowledging the wisdom of your body and the ways it communicates with you.

With a focus on both physical nourishment and emotional well-being, my approach integrates science-based nutrition with practices that foster connection between your body and mind. My goal is to empower you to make choices that feel aligned, sustainable, and healing—helping you thrive in every sense of the word.

    Weight-inclusive Nutrition Therapy

Weight-inclusive nutrition therapy is a compassionate, evidence-based approach that prioritizes health and well-being without focusing on weight as a primary indicator of health. Rooted in the understanding that bodies naturally exist in diverse sizes and shapes, this approach supports individuals in nourishing themselves in a way that aligns with their unique needs, medical conditions, and lived experiences. Rather than focusing on restrictive diets or weight loss, this approach emphasizes sustainable behavior changes, adequate nourishment, and a compassionate relationship with food and body.

    Eating Disorders

I am trained in the Embodied Recovery for Eating Disorders model, which is a trauma-informed, somatically oriented framework that fosters the idea of finding the root cause of an eating disorder. We cannot simply “think our way” out of an eating disorder. If you have experienced traditional treatment for eating disorders, and they have not provided what you need, I am happy to say that I am able to offer a different approach.

  • Family Feeding

I offer support to help parents navigate the complexities of mealtime dynamics. My approach is rooted empowering parents to create a positive feeding environment. Together, we’ll address challenges such as picky eating, food preferences, and growth concerns, fostering healthy relationships with food for both children and parents.
